hi virtual explorers! >P nothing important has changed in my last post, which has been nuked now. oh well.

i. welcome visce.xin

there has been new changes to the site tho! i got a * custom domain * now! never had one before so i was very indecesive about it, hence me posting a poll out of nowhere on the feed, lol. also i wast *just* going to buy a .zip domain but i read the online discussion about it and damn...

and, more than wanting to have a custom domain, it has more of a ~symbolic~ reason behind it. cd expire after one year; since things in my life are looking rough right now and i feel as if i will never see brighter days, i want to be reminded of these days when i get an email notifying me about the domain's renewal *if* my circumstances change and say: "damn that was rough" :P

at first, i thought i was making mistakes with changing the domain correctly on neocities but i just decided to wait 1 hour to see if it updated, and it did. hurray. then i made the fanlisting subdomain so my main site doesn't clutter as much with the projects i have in mind :F

i was considering hosting somewhere else but i don't think i'm looking too forward about it now. maybe when i get onto other projects or other ideas for the site i will consider it, but i don't think it's a must for me at the moment. plus i would've about to understand php and that's another languange entirely lol

i moved my "withlove.html" page where i had all of my free buttons to the market page, and let me tell you something... my bandwidth, always on the first week of the month, went up to 1gb fast and i think the max it spiked was 5-8gb? i thought... maybe i have too much stuff on the homepage...

my bandwidth as of today, august 6th 2026: Used 829.19 MB of bandwidth this month.

ii. rss feed

finally made a rss feed! / https://visce.xin/feed.xml / since sometimes i delete updates because who knows, it's more ideal to have a feed (overall tbh). i didn't know how to get a feed reader because im stupid but obsidian had a community plugin / rss dashboard by aditya / that allows you to paste a link and that's all.

also there are comments now. yay.
iii. media

finally finished reading the visual novel hadaka shitsuji. that was a ride i mostly expected. that i don't want to repeath tbh lol. there's a side story much shorter than the og but i don't think i'll touch it any time soon since i started other vns.

i finished my rambling about it but i haven't posted the video games log yet. im very unsure about the layout but eeh. as of rn i have the mangalog + videogamelog + visual novel log ready. been thinking of remaking the yaoi dungeon layout ugh

also finished fire emblem fates. that was another wild ride that i didn't expect. my first fire emblem game by the way lol.
iv. projects

i shared some sketch of my visual novel protag in my previous entry. yet i had another concept with this protag and antagonist. i was lurking around the toxic yuri jam on itchio and there were great stories that i enjoyed. maybe i'll talk about them in the vnlog some day.

my project are on the brainstorming phase still... most of the time i know what type of scenes i want and the archetype of characters i want to have + the mood, but sometimes it's a long process to land the idea... and to finish it. also i want to consume more books to get inspired :B

+ ive interested in making small magazines. ive seen people doing it (in itchio + sabrin.party) and i love the format. i have a few ideas but of course, my projects often get lost in the process... honestly, i don't know what to write about in this page. talking about me or my life is always a nightmare to handle... attempting to share things about me is hard, even in person!

who knows what else i'll write about in the future. sometimes i write once every two months :$
